  • Have a clear understanding of thematic curriculum delivery.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate and support our school vision of ‘Enjoy, Achieve, Exceed’.

We invite applications from both Early Career Teachers and more experienced teachers. Although the post involves working with key stage 3 pupils, we invite primary trained staff to apply due to the curriculum provided.

We offer:

  • An opportunity to work with talented and committed staff
  • A wonderfully diverse range of pupils who are keen to learn and participate in the life of the school
  • A committed Governing Body and supportive parents/carers

As this post involves a great deal of contact with pupils, staff, visitors and parents, it is important that candidates possess excellent communication skills; maintaining confidentiality at all times will be essential.

We offer a warm and welcoming school community and staff wellbeing is a priority.

Swanwick School and Sports College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children and young people and we expect all our staff and volunteers to share this commitment; we fully support the principles and practice of the publication “Keeping Children Safe in Education”.
